Grand Kadooment Grand Kadooment is the grand finale of the annual Crop Over Festival, and one of the main reasons why thousands of visitors come to Crop Over every year. Grand Kadooment is Barbados’ carnival at which thousands of masqueraders dance through the streets of St. Michael. Commencing at Warrens, this mass of colour pulsates to the new calypsoes. The colour then dances its way down, first to the National Stadium – one mile away, and then to the Spring Garden Highway, an additional five miles. Thousands upon thousands line the route from the National Stadium to Spring Garden, where another 20,000 are already packed in, enjoying the climax of Crop Over.
