Foreday Morning Jam Undoubtedly, the Foreday Morning Jam is the fastest growing event on the Crop Over Calendar attracting participation from across all social strata. The number of persons preferring to play night Mas has grown substantially over the past few years and this was reflected in the number of registered bands in 2011. It’s the Bajan for J’ouvert. As the procession, covered in mud, chocolate, oil and paint make their way along the route to the sounds of iron, tuk, steel pan and of course pulsating soca music, others gather to watch The Official After Party. Serving as the alternative to day mas’ this cool down for the thousands of revellers to bring the foreday into its natural end in daylight, the after party is welcomed by both bystanders and revellers alike. |
