Visual Arts Festival & Evenings of Interpretation The 2012 Crop Over Visual Arts Exhibition will be dynamic, creative, fun and innovative. In keeping with its already established format of expansion throughout out the city of Bridgetown for the last two years, the Exhibition will again feature three core components comprising works in two-dimension, three-dimension and craft. In this new and invigorated format,
this exhibition will seek to bring a new focus to the marketability, exposure, presentation and educational elements as they relate to the various disciplines contained within the visual and aesthetic culture of Barbados. Two primary. locations will be utilized in 2012 which will see the exhibitions being staged at The Grande Salle and the Bagnall’s Point Gallery Pelican Village. The exhibitions will be supported by mini-exhibitions as well as exciting evenings of interactive interpretation of art through music and other performing arts genres all executed with the themes of emancipation and our cultural heritage in mind.
