Bridgetown Market Bridgetown Market is the biggest street fair in the English-speaking Caribbean. It’s a three-day event that starts with the ForeDay Morning street parade and ends with the climax of Grand Kadooment, which brings to an end the annual Crop Over Festival. Over the three days, tens of thousands of residents and visitors invade the Spring Garden Highway which is transformed into a theatre of Barbadian culture.
The Bridgetown Market components are a Street Fair presenting food, drink and some craft along the Spring Garden Highway; a Culture Village featuring a 100% Bajan Craft Market, a traders way presenting a wide variety of items for sale, a specialty-items food court, indigenous Bajan delicacies and a children’s play area; an Entertainment Centre geared at presenting a programme featuring every genre of music.
