Barbados Crop Over FestivalThe June 24th inscription of Bridgetown and its Garrison as a World Heritage Site has been celebrated on the island with aplomb from the time of its declaration in Paris, France. A series of Crop Over events have heralded the inscription which was celebrated in the ICBL Heritage Lecture and ICBL Heritage Tour, the RBC/RBTT Pan in De City, the BS&T Pan Pun De Sand and the Folk Choir Concert. Tonight is the final celebration activity on the Crop Over Festival Calendar and the location of this is at the most recognized historical venue, in the heart of the World Heritage Site.

Charles Fort at the Hilton Barbados was a military site, which in its hay day was situated to provide protection against invasion. Some of the cannon remain to this day, as reminder of our history and the might of the British Military on the island.
Tonight we retrace some of the island heritage at the spectacle which begins at 8 p.m.
